Winning awards before we even start filming?  What???  Yep!!!

"The Shelter" screenplay has already been accepted to multiple film festivals across the country, so far receiving 5 nominations, coming in as a finalist for 1, and WINNING 2, including a most recent win for "Best Script" in Jan 2018.

We also just completed our first wave of fundraising with an Indiegogo campaign done in partnership with Keep Brevard Beautiful.  Not only did we raise over $11,000, but we also got over 50 hours of beach clean up sponsored towards our upcoming beach clean up day where cast and crew and friends will be going out and personally cleaning up their local beaches between Los Angeles and Florida!

BRENDAN HEALY

Jimmy Lubeck (lead male): the owner’s son, good
looking, somewhat introspective, and emotionally closed
off due to a great loss he’s suffered.

Typed as a rugged heartthrob
with a few loose wires,
highlights include national
commercials for Match.com,
Chevron, and a PSA for
Domestic Abuse.
He also landed a principal role
on MTV’s Catfish: The Untold
Stories, commercials for
Honda, Tom Clancy’s The
Division, the History Channel,
Yamaha, and Club W, along
with principal roles in
independent films The
Golden Elixir of Truth, Names
on the Wall, No Woman’s Face
Remember, and Ain’t No
Sunshine.

ALYSSA SUEDE

Tuesday (lead female): a natural beauty. Singer/
songwriter, with a mischievous smile
and a twinkle in her eye.

Alyssa Suede has been singing and
performing since the age of three.
Music and performing are in her
blood: well known music arranger/
composer David Campbell is her
father, one of her brothers is Beck,
and her mom, Raven Kane, is a
singer and theatre composer.
While growing up in Los Angeles,
Alyssa was a champion figure
skater. She starred in The Nutcracker
on Ice at Knotts Berry Farm and
skated/acted as “young Nancy
Kerrigan” in an NBC movie.
Other credits include singing on
Neil Diamond’s Christmas album
and on numerous commercials,
starring in school musicals, and
studying acting at the Royal
Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA)
in London. More recently, she can
be seen as Judy Maxwell in the
upcoming TV series American
Woman.
As a musician, Alyssa taught herself
guitar. She went on to achieve a
series of impressive musical
accomplishments as an independent
singer-songwriter, releasing two EPs
on iTunes, Raw and B&W in Color,
and performing at SXSW, and
Sundance.
“Suede has chops,” L.A. Times
wrote. “Full of melodic rhythmic
songs with poetic lyrics, this pop/
folk musician will get in your head
and stay there.”

BOB CASO

Dent (lead male): wiry and very high strung,
generally full of “piss ‘n’ vinegar”
and has a bad stutter from ‘Nam.

Bob began his career as an actor
doing stock and regional theater
while completing his BFA at Florida
State University, where he worked
with Raul Julia and Broadway
director/ producer Joseph Papp.
He moved to Los Angeles to
pursue a film and television career.
There he studied with Ivana
Chubbuck, Jeffrey Tambor and
Milton Katselas.
Bob has appeared in numerous
films, such as HBO’s The Naked
Truth and Phoenix Pictures’ Ocean
Tribe, as well as guest star and
recurring roles in television shows
such as Beverly Hills 90210,
Crusade and Devious Maids on
the Lifetime Network.
Bob also wrote and produced the
recently completed feature film
Between Waves which has just
been rep’ed for distribution.
The Shelter screenplay has so far
been accepted to 3 festivals, been
nominated for 3 awards, was a
finalist for one and was recently
awarded “Best Script:
Youth/Family” at the Hollywood
Dreamz & Action On Film
International Film Festivals and
Writers’ Celebrations.
