As the next step of finalizing funding for our next feature film, "The Shelter," we are VERY honored to announce that “The Shelter” has just received a fiscal sponsorship from the Utah Film Center!

Utah Film Center inspires and engages diverse audiences to initiate conversation and community building through curated film exhibition, educational programs, and artist support.

We are extremely proud to have been approved by them for sponsorship. Application includes a rigorous board approval process which reviews everything, including our story, our key production team, our budget, and our shoot schedule. Approval is quite an honor!

This year at the Sundance Film Festival there were 7 films which had been sponsored by the Utah Film Center. Films sponsored may be produced anywhere in the United States, and include such projects as "306 Hollywood", "Unrest", and “Won't You Be My Neighbor?” (directed by Academy Award-winning director, Morgan Neville).

What this means is that because all donations made to projects fiscally sponsored by Utah Film Center are 100% tax-deductible, contributions can now be made in the name of “The Shelter” and receive a 100% tax deduction!  We are now able to offer that as a risk-free funding option!
